Born in 1949 at Muzaffarpur, Bihar. Passed M.B.B.S.  from R.M.C.H. Ranchi in 1974, M.D.(Psychiatry) from P.M.C.H. Patna in 1979 initially worked as  psychiatrist  in Ranchi Mansik Arogyasala (Now known as RINPAS) Kanke Ranchi under Bihar government health service.

Later worked as Professor & H.O.D. Psychiatry in medical colleges of Bihar S.K.M.C.H. Muzaffarpur, D.M.C.H. Darbhanga & N.M.C.H. Patna. After retirement from government medical colleges of Bihar served as professor psychiatry in different private medical colleges such as Tirpura Medical College, P.C.M.S. Bhopal & Era’s medical college luckhnow.

Having Experience in psychiatric field is more than 30 years. Life fellow member of Indian psychiatric society & also Chairperson of psychiatric Conference (ANCIPS), life fellow of association of physician of India (API) & also chairman of Muzaffarpur chapter of Bihar State A.P.I.
